2009 has really flown by. I feel like it was just yesterday it was January and now here it is again. While nothing really terrible has happened to me in 2009, I feel like it was just a blah year. Nothing bad happened but nothing good happened either. I go year after year thinking "This is the year. The year I will find love and I will find some sort of purpose for my life" Well I slightly found a purpose (In maybe deciding on a major?) but the love thing is still there hanging over my head like a dark cloud. Am I a loser? Am I unattractive? Why is there not one guy on the face of the earth trying to make a move on me? While I mean I don't want some sleazeball hitting on me I would just like to know that someone found me attractive. I am now stopping on this topic because I could go on for days about it. The bottom line is 2009 has not brought me luck in the love department nor in any department of my life really. Despite the blahness of 2009 I thought it would be fun to recap the year in random pictures I took in each month.
January: This was Jack in January. He has gotten so big since then he was only 5 months old when this was taken and he used to always fall in the cracks of the chair. It was so cute.
February: It snowed! While I am not a fan of snow it really was picturesque. It does create a great backdrop. I also thought the asphalt looks really cool in this picture. February is also the month I started this blog. I am so grateful to have people that read this and seem to enjoy it as much as I enjoy posting! I love blogging and the whole blogosphere!
March: My family took a trip to Atlanta for Spring Break. I love Atlanta it's one of my favorite places to visit. I saw this sign and despite the fact that I am slightly cynical about love I am always drawn to posters and pictures that say love. Maybe it's my inner optimist.
April: There were lots of great spring pictures I could use for April but this one of me and Lexi taken on Photobooth just seems to jump out at me.
May: To kickstart the summer, my best friends an I took a trip to Mount Cheaha for a weekend of "cabining" not camping but staying in a cabin. It was a lot of fun!
June: Trip to Maryland. So much fun despite the 12 hour drive. Also fell in love with DC while we were there. I am just a sucker for city life I guess.
July: I got my new camera. My lovely Pentax, while it isn't a Canon or a Nikon. I have taken some pretty darn good pictures with that thing and I love it. Thank goodness for flexipay on QVC so I could buy it.
August: Back to school. Nothing else to eventful that I can remember. I forgot until now that we found this butterfly in the backyard with an injured wing it was easy to pose.
September: I can't really think of anything eventful or fun that happened in September either. I took this picture of Lexi in September and I love it.
October: Nothing to eventful here. For my mom's birthday I surprised her with my cousin flying in from Maryland. I guess that was pretty eventful and pretty tough to keep the secret. My mom took this picture of me and precious Jack and I don't think I ever posted it.
November: Thanksgiving and Christmas Cards. I think those define the month. Atleast the latter half.
December: Exams, Break, Christmas. Right now. I can't believe I'm already back to December. It's crazy this year has just flown. I took this picture on Christmas day of Lex. It's all blurry and I haven't edited it but it was cute. She was so excited she got legos for Christmas.

So see ya later 2009. See you later whole decade! I have to say I probably won't miss 2009. Now on marching towards making 2010 a fantastic year. Hope everyone has a rockin New Years. I will be spending it with my favorite little cuties but also still secretly wishing for a kiss at midnight (which will never happen) Next time I'll blog it will be a new year! ha! Lame I know!
